Two Mid-Century Modern entryway benches in solid pine and birch, 41 and 56 inches long, in eight finishes from $176 CAD with free shipping across Canada.
An entryway bench is somewhere to sit and pull your boots off, and in a Canadian winter that matters more than it does anywhere else. The Mid-Century Modern bench has a slatted solid wood seat on tapered legs, a frame of solid pine and birch with metal-on-metal connections, and a 275-pound weight rating. The 41-inch bench fits a condo entry or the end of a bed, and the 56-inch bench suits a mudroom, a hallway or the foot of a queen bed.
Both lengths come in eight finishes: Pecan, Walnut, Natural and Black for a wood look, and White, Clay, Teal and Yellow if the entry needs some colour. Finishes are low-VOC. The same bench works at the end of a dining table, as extra seating in a living room or on a covered porch.
Pair the bench with a console table for keys and mail, or a console with a shelf for shoes. The 36 and 46 inch Classic consoles with shelf match the bench lengths and share the Pecan, Walnut and Black finishes.
