13 dining benches in knot-free solid wood, from 46 to 85 inches long, plus the Risa corner banquette, from $211 CAD with free shipping across Canada.
A bench seats more people per foot than chairs, tucks fully under the table when nobody is sitting on it, and costs less than two chairs. These benches are the matching seating for the Classic, Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Verso, Contour and Camden dining tables, in the same Pecan, Walnut, Blonde, Black, Coastal White and wirebrushed finishes.
Lengths run from 46 inches for a 48-inch kitchen table, through 58 to 61 inches for the 72-inch tables, up to 83 and 85 inches for the 94-inch tables. The Risa banquette is the one piece with a back: a 63 by 63 inch solid pine and hardwood corner bench for a breakfast nook, with an optional Cream or Onyx cushion. There is also a Modern outdoor bench finished for a covered patio.
A bench should be 12 to 14 inches shorter than the table so it slides underneath. The 46 to 49-inch benches fit 60-inch tables, the 58 to 61-inch benches fit 72-inch tables, and the 83 and 85-inch benches fit the 94-inch tables. Two people sit comfortably on a 48-inch bench, three on a 60-inch bench and four on an 85-inch bench.
