Four console tables with a lower shelf or closed storage, in knot-free solid wood, from $158 CAD with free shipping across Canada.
An entryway console with storage gives shoes, baskets and bags somewhere to go instead of the floor. These four add storage to the standard console table: the Classic console with shelf in 36 and 46 inch widths has a full solid wood lower shelf, the 46-inch Mid-Century Modern console with storage has closed cabinets behind pull-down doors, and the 56-inch Grande console with shelf is a wider wirebrushed design with an open lower shelf.
All four are knot-free solid wood with hand-applied, low-VOC finishes. The Classic consoles come in Pecan, Walnut, Seashell, Black and White, the Mid-Century Modern in Pecan, Walnut and Black, and the Grande in Pecan or Black wirebrush.
An open shelf is the right choice for baskets, a few pairs of everyday shoes and anything you want to grab on the way out. Closed storage, like the pull-down cabinets on the Mid-Century Modern console, hides the clutter in a hallway you see from the living room. If you need seating too, an entryway bench next to the console covers both.
