26 Plank & Beam coffee tables in knot-free solid wood, rectangular, round and square, from $229 CAD with free shipping across Canada.
A coffee table is the one piece every sofa needs, and these are built to take daily use: knot-free solid wood tops and legs with hand-applied, low-VOC finishes, assembled from a single-panel top that bolts straight to the legs. Rectangular tables come in 40, 45, 48 and 54 inch lengths, round tables in 30, 34 and 36 inches, and there is a 36-inch square Forma table.
The Classic collection is a traditional four-leg table, Modern has square legs and a version with a storage shelf, Mid-Century Modern has tapered legs, Verso has crossed legs, Contour has rounded edges, Forma has a rounded top with a lower shelf and Arcata is a waterfall design in oak veneer. Finishes are Pecan, Walnut, Blonde and Black, with Coastal White and wirebrushed options on Classic and Modern.
A coffee table should be about two-thirds the length of the sofa and sit 14 to 18 inches in front of it. For a standard 84 to 90 inch sofa that means a 48 or 54 inch table. A 40-inch table suits a loveseat or an apartment sofa, and a round table works best with a sectional or an L-shaped seating arrangement where people approach from more than one side.
