Free shipping on a solid wood bunk bed sounds too good to be true, so people ask how it actually works. Here is the whole process, from the order confirmation to the boxes in your hallway.

Free means free

Every order ships free to any Canadian address, from Victoria to St. John's. There is no minimum order, no delivery surcharge for heavy items and no duties or brokerage fees on arrival. The price at checkout is the price you pay.

How long it takes

Most orders are processed and prepared for shipment within about a week. Standard delivery typically takes 12 to 18 business days in total, with the transit part depending on where you are. If anything changes with your order, for example a finish goes out of stock, we email you right away rather than leaving you waiting.

Tracking

The moment your order ships you get a tracking number by email, so you can follow it the rest of the way. Beds arrive as more than one box, and the boxes can arrive a day apart, so do not worry if one shows up before the others.

When the truck arrives

• Grab a helper. Solid pine means large, heavy boxes. Two adults make moving them inside much easier.
• Check the boxes. Look over every box and note any visible damage with the driver at delivery. It makes a carrier claim much faster if anything inside was hurt.
• Count them. If a box has not turned up, email us with your order number and we will chase it.

If something is wrong

If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, send us photos. We cover the return shipping, there is no restocking fee, and we will arrange a replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer. Missing a bolt bag or a panel? Email your order number and we will get replacement parts moving. Claims for missing or damaged parts need to reach us within 30 days of delivery.
